This training institute will foster community-integrated and community led research programs that focus on the prevention of suicide, attempted suicide, and risk factors such as youth violence, drug use, family turmoil, intimate partner violence, psychological and personal distress, and adverse life experiences. This forum is designed to support related National Institutes of Health (NIH) research priorities.
The Center for the Study and Prevention of Suicide is dedicated to reducing mortality and morbidity from suicide and attempted suicide.
Cost to Participants
- Support for airfare, lodging and meals will be provided.
- Teams are expected to pay a $75 registration fee following acceptance.
- Minimal out-of-pocket expenses should be expected.
